A change of lead in the GC today - now led by Ignacio Alonso by just 11 seconds after 45 hours of cycling. I hold on for second and Jill Jenkins sits third just 16 seconds off the lead. Antti S is one of those with todays winner and takes over the top of the stage winners contest with 4 winners and 3 third - just pipping Ben Storey into second.

It's a mountain day tomorrow - with an easier start it's likely to lead to another breakaway. But will it last to the line or will the GC riders peg it back and go for the win?

Nobody with todays winner but a group of 11 had the third placed rider and gained some time in the GC.

I now lead the GC by 2:04 and Ben Storey is still unchallenged at the top of the stage winners contest.

Stage 13 offers a hilly route - a lot of which is in the first half of the stage. The strong fast men will be hoping for a bunch sprint but maybe a decent sized break will already be up the road?

2 players had todays winner - I'm sure it would have been more had most people not played their Matthew Brennan card already. Congratulations to Rebe Santos and Mel N* .

The GC is mostly unchanged due to the bunch finish and nobody has yet managed to match Ben Storey's 4 winners so we move on to stage 12.

Tomorrows stage is one for the purest climbers. 2 brutal climbs in the last 50km will be sure to whittle down the peloton and lead to a GC showdown.
