Another big shuffle of the GC standings means David Fdez. Maceda “ Cuni “ now leads the GC by 1:28, and the stage winners standings is tied between Tony B, Rebe Santos and Dave D. Each have 2 winners and a second kicker.

After that tough stage most riders will be delighted to have a relatively easy flat stage tomorrow - almost certainly a bunch sprint finish.

Zoiks! It's one of those stages that really shakes up the GC with most sprinters being broken on the climb and never getting back on! A few GC casualties but it's early days and all still to play for.

Congratulations to Ignacio Rosso, Ana Sousa, Tony B and Stuart W for picking todays winner.

King Saversson now leads the GC standings by 2 seconds ahead of a chasing pack. Tony B jumps to the top of the Stage Winners league with 2 winners and a second.

Stage 5 is one for the climbers - although not necessarily the GC contenders. There's over 4000m of climbing although nothing too mountenous. Maybe it's time for a successful breakaway group to hold on?

Results are in for stage 3.

It seems those that didn't pick Paul Magnier for stage 1 picked him for stage 3 instead! 34 players celebrating the sprint victory today - and a heap of others settling for second placed Jonathan Milan. Another busy podium today!

Coelhoslb 1 doubles their lead in the GC to 4 seconds and also continues to head the stage winners contest adding a 2nd place to the 1st and 3rd.

Rest day tomorrow so you have plenty of time to mull over your selections for Stage 4. A similar stage to today although the climb comes a bit closer to the finish.
