The GC is mostly unchanged due to the bunch finish and nobody has yet managed to match Ben Storey's 4 winners so we move on to stage 12.

Tomorrows stage is one for the purest climbers. 2 brutal climbs in the last 50km will be sure to whittle down the peloton and lead to a GC showdown.

Nobody has todays winner but 4 players had Magnus Cort in second. Maybe not the expected breakaway opportunity but a rather tired bunch finish.

Not much change in the GC today as most had a rider in the bunch so I still top the standings, and Ben Storey is still the only player with 4 winners so leads that competition.

Stage 11 is one of the few opportunities for a proper bunch finish for the sprinters without too many obstables in the way.

It looked all but certain that the break would stay away today but the GC favourites had other ideas and clawed back a 5 minute defecit on the final climb. Enric Mas showed his class and took the stage win - to the delight of 20 players here.

I still lead the GC but Ben Storey takes over at the top of the stage winners contest notching up his 4th winner of the race.

It's a rest day tomorrow and cycling resumes on Tuesday with a hilly 185km.
