The expected bunch sprint despite the efforts of Liam Slock to upset the sprint teams. 6 players had Tim Merlier today - well done to those.

Not much changing in the GC - Ignacio Rosso leads Pedro Fernandes by 23 seconds and Tony B still the only player with 4 winners.

Following the latest 2 sprint stages we return to an undulating stage suited to attackers. It's the last stage before the rest day so hopefully no holding back - full out attack. A chance to close the week with some GC gains if you're brave and clever enough to pick a rider that gets in the break.

No surprises today - the expected sprint finish contested by the pre-stage favourites. The victory goes to Tim Merlier and the 21 players that selected him today.

The GC is largely unchanged today - although Tony B notches up his 4th winner and heads to the top of the stage winners league.

More of the same tomorrow I suspect - another likely bunch finish for the sprinters.
