2 obvious picks topped the selections today but it was the lesser picked Olav Kooij that delivered the win. 7 players were on the money although the Stage Winners league leader Andrew Glover managed only 3rd. Doesn't matter though - Andrew still leads being the only player to pick 3 winners. No notable change to the GC times today as everybody was in the bunch so only bonus seconds the difference - but those few seconds were enough to demote Keijo K. Kojootti from 2nd to 4th, promoting Mário Bamonde and Ignacio Rosso to 2nd and 3rd respectively. Less than 30 seconds between the top 6!

It's the final day in the Pyrenees tomorrow and likely to be a GC battle at the finish. Although it's not THAT tough a stage so maybe a breakaway will be in with a squeak?

The breakaway day finally arrives and 26 players cheers Mads Pedersen over the line. Andrew Glover makes it 3 from 3 for the stage winners contest and Zimbo B now leads the GC by 21 seconds.

Tomorrow is the first opportunity for the pure sprinters - how fresh are those legs after 4 challenging stages. A likely bunch sprint for the fast guys tomorrow - who are you picking?

Well that didn't go as expected. Tadej Pogačar does what Tadej Pogačar wants, and today it was the win in a stage most expected the GC contenders to sit up for. Some GC casualties here as a result.

Well done to Zimbo B, Dan Towns* and Andew Glover for seeing through the bluff and picking the winner today. Andrew leads the stage winners contest with 2 victories on the bounce. Zimbo now leads the GC by 18 seconds.

Not so much elevation on tomorrows stage - and dare I say the breakaway may have more success. But who knows?
